The NC Folk Festival is one of the best things to come to Greensboro since…ever! If you haven’t attended yet, do yourself a favor and just come downtown and walk around and take it all in. Thursday, September 5 at 7:00pm, Laurelyn Dossett and friends kick it off with their “Songs of Hope & Justice. Then Friday, Saturday & Sunday (September 6, 7 & 8), world class musicians from around the globe will be in Greensboro doing what they do best. It’s really amazing. And, this year, with the help of the Fiddle & Bow Society, the Festival is trying something new. Stationed in various businesses around downtown, local musicians will be performing so you can come in and take a load off for a minute or two. This is where I come in.
